Adelaide Festival: March 3 and 4

Dragonfly Song, which won the Prime Minister’s Award for Children’s Literature in December, is on the shortlist for the Adelaide Festival Award for Children’s Literature.

  • Wendy will be at the festival for the announcement on Saturday March 3 and
  • appearing in a panel session The Book that Changed my Life on Sunday March 4

Wendy Orr is a Canadian-born Australian writer. Her books for children and adults have been published in 27 countries and won awards around the world. Nim’s Island and Nim at Sea have also become feature films, starring Jodie Foster and Abigail Breslin (Nim’s Island) and Bindi Irwin (Return to Nim’s Island.)
